Sunday School
Sunday School is the most important ministry for our kids. Sunday School is chance for kids to learn the truth of God's Word in a way they can understand. We use Lifeway as our source curriculum. Our teachers receive training and are all background checked. Each week kids will come home with a Sunday School review sheet so that you can talk about what they learned and encourage them in their daily walk with Jesus.
Kids 3yrs old (By September 30, and potty trained) thru 6th grade meet in the Children’s Building, Building A. All kids check in at the front desk. All kids receive a name tag, and their guardians receive a pickup tag. Nursery kids precede to the nursery, and the guardians drop them off with the teacher there. All other kids are brought to their rooms by staff.
After Sunday School, all guardians come to the front desk to pick up their kids (PreK – 4th grade) We ask that the one who drops off the kids is the one who picks them up. Nursery age kids will be directed to the nursery area to receive their kids.
5th and 6th graders are allowed to dismiss themselves from Sunday School to Church.
Children's Church
3yrs old (By September 30, and potty trained) thru 9 years old.
Most Sunday mornings we have Children's Church during our 10:30 AM service. We use a Lifeway curriculum which provides kids with a consistent lesson plan and continuity for our teachers. Our teachers receive training and are all background checked. We provide kids a snack during this time.
Children church meets in the Children’s building A. Children are checked in by one of our trained Children Ministry team members. For those kids staying for Children’s church they will either remain in their class or are brought to the older Children’s Church room. They are checked in again for Children’s Church. All kids coming to the 10:30 Children’s Church/nursery hour will be checked in as above. After the 10:30 service, guardians (the one who dropped them off) will come to the front desk for their kids to be Checked out.
Every 5th Sunday is “Family Sunday” and there is no Older Children’s Church on those days
The older kids will worship with their families.
