Live Oak Baptist Church is not a place, but a group of people. We are a body of believers on a mission to
"KNOW", "GROW", and "GO"
Values
KNOW
To "KNOW" is not simply knowledge. It is wisdom to realize we are sinners in need of a Savior. Our members are those who found forgiveness after recognizing our sinful nature and confessing our sin. We now are in a relationship with God the Father to carry out His work on Earth.
GROW
To "GROW" is a lifelong process. Being a people saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. God has given us a desire to live out our Christian faith during our brief time on earth. We grow in our faith by worshipping together, studying His Word, spending time alone with the Father, serving, and living life together with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
GO
To "GO" expresses itself in our daily lives. Worshipping God is not simply a Sunday exercise; rather it is treating those we meet daily to His love, grace, forgiveness, compassion, and hope. The "Great Commission" (Matthew 28:19-20) and the "Great Commandment" (Matthew 22:37-40) are God's guidance for believers in our homes, at our workplaces, in our community, and around the world.
