Children's MinistryChildren’s Ministry News AWANA Sunday Nights at 5:00pm We are excited about you joining us for fun, games and the Word of God! Our children are special to us here at Live Oak. There are always activities planned for all age groups. Sunday School begins at 9:15 am and is a time for us to learn about the Bible and its teachings in ways they can understand.
We have an awesome Children’s Church Program. Most Sunday’s we are blessed with 15 – 20, 1st thru 4th graders. We play games, sing songs and watch a video clip and of course read Scripture. The theme of the day is based on that Scripture. They are also served a snack and drink during the session. We invite your child to come visit us and have a lot of fun. We exit with the children during the offering.
There is also a 3 year old thru Kindergarten Children's Church and a nursery going on at this time.
On Sunday evenings, during the school year, at 5:00 pm we have AWANA! Ages are 3 (by September 30th, and must be potty trained) thru 5th Grade. Awana Boys and Girls Club to teach 3yr olds thru 5th graders God's word and to play games and have fun.
Wednesday nights beginning at 7:00pm we have Mission Friends and Children-In-Action. Here they have fun while learning about missionaries and their work all over the globe. They discover new cultures, languages, foods, and challenges missionaries face. Here they also learn about and participate in mission projects designed for their ages.
There are also monthly get-togethers just for fun. Remember to regularly check out our calendar of events for current activities.
All activities are taught by teachers who love the Lord and have a special love for His little ones.
